This 10 week cookery course is every Wednesday evening from 17th May, starting at 6.15pm until 9.30pm.
This course is suitable for enthusiastic amateurs who are looking to further their skills and gain knowledge from the professionals.
By the end of the 10 weeks you will have learnt a variety of skills and will have gained confidence in the kitchen.
You will be taught by the tutors that train our Oxford School of Hospitality students, on a day to day basis, for Brookes Restaurant, so you will be in good hands!
You will be covering the following over the 10 weeks;
Week 1 - Knife skills, soups and garnishes
Week 2 - Yeast (bread)
Week 3 - Stocks and sauces
Week 4 - Pasta and risotto
Week 5, 6 and 7 - Meat and fish (starters and main courses)
Week 8 - Pastry - rough puff, choux, shortcrust and batters
Week 9 and 10 - Desserts
