Open water swimming is a fast growing activity with growing evidence that the cold adaption can improve mood and reduce anxiety.

The swims take place from Falcon Rowing and Canoe club with parking, changing and showers available.

A Brookes Sport swim cap will be provided and must be worn.

All swimmers must be able to confidently swim 100 meters.

The water is cool but will normally be between 15 and 20 degrees. Wearing a wetsuit is optional but not provided. It is recommended to wear something on your feet as the depth is generally shallow enough to stand up.

All participants must be over 18 and you will be required to sign a declaration prior to swimming to confirm that you are a confident swimmer, understand the risks and will follow the rules.
