The qualification is made up of three core modules that enable delegates to understand, develop and demonstrate the required levels of knowledge and skills to deliver effective coaching and mentoring.

1. The first module 'Understanding the Skills, Principles and Practice of Effective Coaching and Mentoring within an Organisational Context' aims to provide participants with an understanding of the skills, principles and practice required for effective coaching or mentoring within an organisational context.
2. In the second module 'Undertaking an Extended Period of Effective Coaching or Mentoring within an Organisational Context', participants are expected to plan and prepare to deliver a coaching or mentoring programme to support a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 individuals over 18 hours. Delegates are also expected to engage in and evidence a minimum of 2 hours of supervision for this module.
3. In the final module 'Reviewing Own Ability as a Coach or Mentor within an Organisational Context', participants have the opportunity to holistically review their ability to perform effectively as a coach or mentor within an organisational context.
