Course Description

This multi-professional course is delivered face to face, over 2 days, and aims to give participants an introduction to simulation based education delivery. The course provides an overview of the underlying theory, stages of scenario design and development, and addresses the key elements of prebriefing, psychological safety and debriefing.

Participants have the opportunity to take part in delivering a simulation and then undertaking a debrief, followed by a meta debrief with a mentor.  They also are able to experience being a participant within a simulation run by other course participants, as well as working with simulated participants (trained actors) and learning technologists.
