Classes are 2 hours per week, running on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm; for 10 weeks. This course is aimed at learners with a proficency level of HSK 6 and above. This course is running on campus.

Our Monday class is held in Summertown, Oxford and runs from 5 October 2026 to 7 December 2026.

Our Thursday class is held on Oxford Brookes Headington Campus and runs from 8 October 2026 to 10 December 2026.

This course is designed for children under 15-years-old with Chinese language speaking background aiming to enhance their daily Chinese listening, speaking, reading and Chinese characters learning or aiming to sit the HSK Chinese Proficiency Exams.

The course payment is for 10 lessons.

Through BrookesEDGE, you can take part in a wide range of activities outside your studies, to make the most of your time at university and stand out in the job market. BrookesEDGE is a co-curricular scheme run by the University and Brookes Union.

This course is for students to build upon their basic knowledge of Chinese calligraphy. The course will cover basic strokes, stroke orders and character arrangement. If you have taken our previous calligraphy courses, this one will have new characters so you should still be able to join. 

Students will be provided with their own brush, ink and calligraphy paper for the course.

Course time: Tuesdays 5:30-7:00pm

Please note a minimum of 3 students is required to run this course.

We also offer a Calligraphy bundle for £10 alongside this course.

Included in the bundle: 

• 2 Calligraphy brushes
• 1 water mat 
• 1 ceremic ink dish
• Xuan paper and felt mat

This bundle will be £10 in total and we will provide it to you at your first class. The bundle doesn't include ink.

This GCSE lesson aims at tutoring the GCSE Mandarin curriculum to UK immigrant Chinese students who plan to take the GCSE exam in the near future. We cover all topic areas from the GCSE course specification, with interactive activties, exercises, games and more! The GCSE exam technique and how to complete the exam will also be talked about throughout the course.

Classes are 2 hours per week, running on Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm for 10 weeks spread out over a series of terms. This course is designed for Chinese language students aiming to sit the HSK 4 Chinese Proficiency Exam. This course is running online.

This course has already been running for 30 weeks, you can join the course at any time. 

The terms dates are October- December 2026.

Classes are 2 hours per week, running on Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm for 10 weeks. This is an intermediate level language course which teaches the skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing in Mandarin Chinese and is intended for students with HSK4 level Proficiency and above. This course is online.

The term dates for this are 6th October- 8th December 2026.

Classes are 1.5 hours per week, online on Thursdays 7-8:30pm.  This course is designed for children under 15-year-old with Chinese language speaking background aiming to enhance their daily Chinese listening, speaking, reading and Chinese characters learning or aiming to sit the HSK Chinese Proficiency Exam.
