The Confucius Institute is running courses in Chinese language and culture for the general public, and hosting events throughout the year. Beginner Chinese level 1 - OnlineDescriptionClasses are 2 hours per week, running on Friday evenings from 6-8pm (UK time) for 10 weeks. Perfect for those who want to learn Chinese but have limited free time. This course is online via zoom. Terms are: September – December; January/February – March/April; March/April - June/July
Chinese CalligraphyDescriptionThis course is for students to build upon their basic knowledge of Chinese calligraphy. The course will cover basic strokes, stroke orders and character arrangement. If you have taken our previous calligraphy courses, this one will have new characters so you should still be able to join. Students will be provided with their own brush, ink and calligraphy paper for the course. Course time: Tuesdays 5:30-7:00pm Please note a minimum of 3 students is required to run this course. This bundle will be £10 in total and we will provide it to you at your first class. The bundle doesn't include ink. As usual our classes will be able to provide all the materials so don't worry if you aren't interested in purchasing this optional bundle.
