DescriptionThis experiential, online workshop combines theory and practice focused on the use of metaphor in coaching sessions. This workshop will start by considering the nature of metaphor from a theoretical perspective, moving into a practical exploration on how coaches can work intentionally with metaphor to evoke reflective capacity in the clients' exploration of their topic. It is open to students of coaching, along with experienced coaches and staff who would like to engage in additional learning, offering shared practical experience, active reflection and learning. The workshop will be run by Julia Papworth with support from Ioanna Iordanou. The workshop will be online Saturday, 20th June 2026, from 09:30 to 12:30 via Zoom. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance detailing 3 CPD hours. We offer an introductory price of £30 for OBU students, staff and alumni. The Full Price is £45 and our usual terms of eligibility for discount applies. It is not hybrid. It will not be recorded.
