Detailed Description

Join us in the Brookes Union Bar on Monday 23rd November 2026, anytime from 5pm until 7pm.

Come and enjoy a cozy, creative festive gathering! Get into the holiday spirit while making  sustainable Christmas decorations using natural materials, upcycled treasures, and zero-waste  supplies. Explore four fun activity tables with craft projects for every age and skill level.

Try your hand at any of our four tables. Bauble, candle, or wine bottle painting at Table 1;  create upcycled crafts, make your own Santa, Christmas tree or gingerbread man using old  clothes at Table 2; craft with pinecones, conkers, and toilet rolls at Table 3; or show off your  skills in our cardboard gingerbread man competition at Table 4!

To keep you warm and well fuelled, we will be serving hot chocolate and plenty of festive treats to enjoy. Bring your friends, bring your family, and leave with  unique handmade crafts to dress your home sustainably this Christmas or to give to those in  care!
