Take a break from scrolling and join us for Plant & Pour, a relaxing, creative and nature-inspired event designed to bring people together through art and socialising. Whether you are looking to unwind after a busy day, meet new people or simply try something different, Plant & Pour is the perfect opportunity to switch off from your screen and enjoy some hands-on creativity.
Taking place at the SU Bar, this two-hour event invites students, staff and members of the public to get creative by decorating their very own terracotta plant pot to take home. With a selection of colourful paint pens and decorating materials available, you will have the freedom to personalise your pot with unique patterns, colours and designs that reflect your personality. Whether you prefer something bright and bold or simple and minimal, the choice is yours!
No artistic experience is needed, just come along, get creative and have fun!
On arrival, you will be welcomed with a refreshing soft drink before settling into your creative space. Throughout the event, you can enjoy relaxed background music, light snacks and the chance to chat with friends or meet new people in a friendly, informal atmosphere. Our team will be on hand to provide materials, inspiration and support, so you can relax and enjoy the decorating experience at your own pace.
