Detailed Description

Bring your friends and get ready to compete in a pub quiz with a sustainable twist! The Sustainable Showdown is a two-hour event featuring six rounds of questions, including emoji movie and sustainability, where you can test your knowledge, put your guessing skills to the test. It aims to foster a fun, relaxing time for students after class and to increase awareness of sustainability through quizzes that can help students to apply in their daily lives. It will be held on Thursday 26th November 2026 at Brookes Bar, Oxford Brookes University, from 1pm to 3pm.

You don’t need to be a sustainability expert or a quiz champion to join in - the event is designed to be enjoyable for everyone! To make the experience even better, snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the quiz, giving you something to enjoy as you compete. With an entry of just £3 per person, it is a great opportunity to socialise, challenge yourself and spend time with friends.
