Food, Drink and Culture Oxford Fieldtrip 2026

Unattended children

£25.00

Description

We are planning another hugely exciting and heavily subsidised fieldtrip on the 13th of March 2026, taking advantage of the School’s professional networks. For the bargain price of only £25, you can meet inspiring people from the food and hospitality sector, and sample local food, drink and culture, all linked to your learning.

We are grateful for the generous financial support of the Savoy Educational Trust and the Oxford Brookes Business School.

Detailed Description

This field trip is similar to the ones we have organised over the last 14 years, which were very successful: past excursions had a huge impact on students' learning, with many using this experience to inform their assessments on multiple modules, and, in some cases, their career plans.

Draft programme

We plan to leave Brookes at 12pm and head to Worton Kitchen Garden near Cassington, Oxon (https://wortonkitchengarden.com/), where we will have a 3-course lunch, meet the team and hear about their hospitality, events, retail and farming initiatives.

We will then move on to the TAP Social Movement in Botley (https://www.tapsocialmovement.com/), where we will also meet representatives of the team, learn about their work, and sample their beers.

The trip will finish between 5 and 6pm.
