Dynamo for Revit: Parametric Thinking and Practical Automation is a live online short course designed to introduce architects, designers and BIM professionals to the fundamentals of Dynamo within Autodesk Revit.

The course explores the principles of parametric thinking and demonstrates how Dynamo can be used to automate repetitive tasks, manipulate model data and create more efficient Revit workflows. Through a practical, hands-on approach, participants will develop an understanding of computational design concepts while building Dynamo graphs alongside an experienced BIM specialist.

This course bridges the gap between traditional Revit modelling and the computational workflows increasingly used across architectural practice and the wider built environment.

This interactive course is delivered as a single three-hour live online session and follows a "learning by doing" approach.

During the session you will:

• Learn the fundamentals of parametric thinking
• Build Dynamo graphs alongside the tutor in Autodesk Revit
• Complete practical exercises to reinforce key concepts
• Explore: data flow, lists, element selection, Revit parameter manipulation
• Work through beginner-friendly examples that demonstrate how Dynamo can:
  • automate repetitive Revit tasks
  • manage model information
  • support rule-based design decisions

Following the course, participants will receive:

• a recording of the live session to revisit the material
• access to a dedicated WhatsApp support group for two weeks after the course to ask follow-up questions.
